North Saanich

More About North Saanich

Rolling hills, laid-back valleys, generously protected parklands, agricultural farmlands, and quiet residential areas surrounded by long stretches of beach and cozy bays on three sides with a balmy sea, and sunsets so dramatic they take your breath away. It's no wonder North Saanich consistently ranks high on the list of the finest rural-residential areas in all of Canada.

Travel around these places through the convenience of its air and sea transportation or just opt to have the adventurous way of hiking, cycling, or horseback riding through an extensive park and trails network linking municipal, regional, and provincial parklands. Another way is, of course, hitting the road while feasting your eyes with its picturesque farms, roadside produce, and flower stand.

With 11 neighborhoods, there are a lot of places to choose from, most notably happy places like Deep Cove, Sidney, and the ferry terminal at Swartz Bay.

A large part of the Saanich peninsula measuring about 37 square kilometers, there's undoubtedly no shortage of unbelievably beautiful natural attractions, fun things to do in the water and on land, and community delights that entice visitors and home-lookers from all over the world to visit, travel, and settle around North Saanich.
